Air mattresses, QuickBeds, and pads have come a long way since my first camping trip. My poor Dad had a small leak in his mattress & had to blow it up again about every hour. Not much sleep for him that night!
Now families use air beds in their home for overnight guests and children's sleep-overs. When choosing your bedding, decide if you will use it at other times besides camping trips. If you hike to your campsite, size and weight are major considerations.

Some of our air mattresses and QuickBeds come with a pump for easy inflation. If your family requires multiple mattresses, purchase one mattress with pump included and the others without. If the mattress you prefer does not include a pump it is highly recommended that you purchase one separately. You will thank me for this advise later as you watch your red-faced camping neighbor struggling to blow up his mattress.
